Invited Seminars and Lectures
1. Dr. Metz has presented various invited
vehicle
dynamics and racing
seminars
(ranging in duration from one hour to
three days) at General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Daimler-Chrysler
Corporation, as well as to engineers from these three companies, and engineers
from Nissan, Honda, Porsche, Ferrari, Nissan, Toyota and Hyundai. He has also
presented similar seminars to suppliers and their personnel, both OEM and
aftermarket, including Continental General Tire Co., Hays-Lemmerz, Freightliner,
Teves, Borg-Warner, TRW and many, many others. For a number of these companies, Dr.
Metz is a retained expert in accident reconstruction and vehicle dynamics.
2. Dr. Metz has also presented various invited
accident
reconstruction
seminars
for Engineering Dynamics Corporation, makers
of the HVE (Human-Vehicle-Environment) software/hardware
package for accident reconstruction, simulation and visualization. This is the
most widely used accident reconstruction software in the World, and is employed
by essentially all major manufacturers, the National Transportation Research
Board, etc.
3. Finally, Dr. Metz has delivered literally hundreds of
invited
lectures, speeches and seminars
on the subjects of accident
reconstruction and vehicle dynamics throughout the United States, Mexico,
Western Europe and Canada. Any of these could be discussed if interested parties
so request.
