Metz Engineering and Racing (MER)
is a consulting company that provides services in two, and only two, distinct
areas: (1) road and racing accident reconstruction and vehicle dynamics and (2) circuit, oval
track, drag and land speed racing consultation. Since 1970, MER has been heavily
involved in these areas on a highly successful basis.
MER accident
reconstruction and vehicle dynamics work has spanned a wide range of consulting
and accident situations, including passenger car, light and medium truck, heavy
truck, motorcycle and race car accidents of all kinds and descriptions. Over the
past 36 years, Dr. Dan Metz has reconstructed approximately 1,200 road accidents
of all types and descriptions, and more than 75 racing accidents of all kinds,
at speeds ranging from 1.5 mph to over 375 mph. He has worked for insurance
companies, manufacturers, race teams, racing sanctioning bodies, attorneys and
local, state and national agencies, and has served on various scientific and
governmental panels involved with vehicle dynamics.
MER
is a turnkey consulting firm, providing everything needed to carry work through
to completion: engineering and computing expertise, machine shop and
model-building facilities, graphic arts and presentation and testimony, if
needed. You will work with the same person throughout your consultation, Dr. Dan
Metz, and you’ll
never hear the dreaded "He doesn’t work here any more" or "I
didn't do that part of the work" phrases. You'll be working with
someone who has literally done it all and been there for it all. No
high priced underlings, no big payroll, no communications glitches, no expensive
overhead, inflated billing and "associates" to pay for, and no
puffed-up resumes: just timely,
expert, scientifically accurate engineering work at fair prices. Dan's
consulting Clients, resume and experience speak for themselves, and he'll be
there for you when you need him. If it involves accident reconstruction, vehicle
dynamics and racing, Dr. Metz knows something about it and has contributed to
its science. |
